I have given up on the thought of knowing my paternal blood line. A year ago this month I received a denial response from my biological father. Here is the letter I received:
It's been awhile since I have posted anything to my blog, but I have been adding more information along the way. I have added most information to my adopted family tree, but I have been doing research and have been searching for more ancestors. I have finished 145 pages of Blood Line pages that, but am waiting to print it out because I believe that as soon as I do, I will find more information. I have given up on the thought of knowing my paternal blood line. A year ago this month I received a denial response from my biological father. Here is the letter I received: He was also kind enough to send a brief medical history of his family, which I am sharing below. The last 2-3 lines that are blanked out above is what the CI sent me. She said she had to marker these lines out because he had enclosed a PO Box for me to contact him, but he had given an alias. I would love to know what is said on these blacked out lines, but the law does not allow him to know my name if I do not know his. I would love to receive some feedback about this blog. Do you think it is right for the information in the letter to be blacked out?

It is 19 Feb 2014 at 7:50 am. For the past three days I have been trying to add pictures and information about the places our ancestors have lived. While waiting for many of the pictures to upload, I have been arranging pictures to make a slide show. It is supposed to be a beautiful day today. Maybe be in the 40s. The sun is already shining. I have many other things I need to get finished today. I have so much more information I would like to get added to this site before I publish it. Hopefully everything I have will be uploaded within a week.
It is 7:55 am, and I am sitting here, not quite sure what to do next. I do have some Great news though. Yesterday I found out that my CT can came back totally normal! And, I was told that I only have to have a ultrasound on my left rather than a biopsy, and it is postponed until Monday. It was a Great news day! Now, this morning, I'm not quite sure what I want to get into. It is at this point when I usually stop working on any project. I get them about 85% completed, then I don't know how to finish them. It's not that I don't want to finish them, it's that I just don't know how to. Weird, hugh? Another little update. The CI has located my b.father. She spoke with him on the phone a couple weeks ago, and at that time, he said he was not the father. Wow. Whatever! I wrote him this letter: I probably shouldn't have start it out: To my biological father. Especially since he doesn't think he is. But it is too late. The CI told me last week that he has received the letter and all official documents required by the state. The CI, Mimi, went on vacation last Friday (Nov. 1), and I have not heard anything back from her. Pretty sure at this point that I won't be receiving good news. But at least I tried, and reached out. We will see. :)
Well, Ron just got in from hunting. Gonna say goodbye for now. Well, it's been a busy day. It is 8:30 now and I think I'm done for the night. I finished adding ancestor stories for about 10 ancestors. There is some pretty confusing ancestors and distant cousins marrying one another through the Tremblay family. I'm still looking into it....but for a brief look at what I mean, you can look at Claude Bouchard. This all starts with his daughter, Genevieve who married Michel Tremblay. But I believe I have found more. I believe Michel had a brother Pierre, who is also an ancestor. I will look into this more at a later date.
I have another little project I am working on....that is...arranging all our ancestor in alphabetically order. I did this once, but didn't add the birth and death dates and places, so I am doing this over again, and will add it when finished. It is 8:30 am on Thursday. I have finished the timelines for our ancestors, and added it under the 'Where to Begin' heading. That is probably about all I will be doing today. It is a sad day today because I will be leaving to go to a funeral this morning. Our friend, Brenda Brabant, passed away on Nov 3 after a long hard fight with cancer. She was only 51. This also makes me sad because of all the tests that I must have this week. I went for a CT scan on my abdomen on Tuesday, and tomorrow I have to go to Mercy and have a biopsy on my left breast. I thought it was going to be an ultrasound, but they called yesterday and said a biopsy. Just praying everything is going to be okay.
Well, gotta go now and get ready. Lori is going to be here in about an hours to pick me up. It is now 12:30 am. Have been working on this site all morning, since 6 am. I added all the ancestors I know of into alphabetical order. All this information and designing makes me think I should start a website to sell my vectored art files. I may start working on doing that later this week, but for right now, doing this seems more important to me.
It is Tuesday morning, 8:00 am. I have been working on maps. I finished adding all the names I have over the weekend, and added all the places in England and France that our ancestors came from. I'm working on the map of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and just finished the map of Nova Scotia (Acadia). These two areas seem to be my favorites, and I think it's because they are surrounded by water. I'm going to get a couple pictures from the internet...Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and Amherst and Port Royal, Nova Scotia....it's 8:26. It's 9:02 now...here are the pictures from past and present. I need to get a few things done so I'll be back in awhile to add some more things. Going to call Ty first.
I decided to start my blog tonight. I have been working on adding all our ancestors. I am on the 10th Generation right now, but before I go back to that, I just want to gather my thoughts about all the interesting things I want to be included on this website. I will be adding my maternal DNA from the information I received from 23andme.com. I love this site. It is so interesting, and I have learned so much about my health and genetics. And, this DNA adds up with the information I have found about our ancestors. I should probably make a heading "A Little About Me", just to let you know how my journey through our Maternal Blood Lines started. And it all really just began in 2011. I'm going to make that heading now, and I'll blog more later.
