Our Blood
I believe every person should know their blood type. It should be tested at birth, and documented on our birth certificate. With the multitude of diseases and illnesses, why does it seem that we have forgotten the importance of our blood types.
We certainly can't help who we fall in love with, but would it make a difference if you knew that the person you love and want to have children with, had a blood type that could result in complications with your blood type or potential illnesses and diseases of your children? Are certain blood types prone to certain diseases? Ever since being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in 1990, I have held the belief that my blood type had something to do with triggering RA. I asked this same question in a Rheumatoid Arthritis Group on Facebook. As of January 28, 2015, 218 people responded to my question. 186 people were Rh- and 70 were Rh+. If you are visiting this site, I would really appreciate your input as to what type of blood you have. Please take a moment and click on your blood type in the poll to the right. |
